Title: Loves Lost
Author: Sourabh Mukherjee
Genre: Short stories
My Rating: 5/5 stars
The book is a collection of five short stories, all revolving around the theme of “love”. Some stories are very sad, while some are happy and though, romance is not particularly a favourite genre for me, I loved reading every bit of this book.
The stories have all been written perfectly, and there was no story at all that I did not like. I couldn’t find any possible flaws with the book, be it in terms of the writing, the characters, the plots of each story, anything!
It’s wonderful how the author is able to capture the reader with even such short stories… The writing is beautiful, and the author has a very unique and impressive way of revealing some facts and turns to the story as we read on each one.
My personal favourite was “My Summers with Nargis”, which simply left me wonderstruck. It’s wonderful how the author has left no loose ends in any of the stories, even though they are all very short stories.
This is for sure one of the nicest romance books I have ever read and I would definitely recommend this if you are someone who is into romance and especially if you are looking to read something light and quick.
